Molly Becker is an associate on the firm’s Probate and Litigation practice group. She is part of Katelyn D. Skinner’s team. She practices a broad range of law in Probate, Probate Litigation, and Guardianships/Conservatorships. Molly also specializes in representing clients with Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) involvement, from the start of a Child Protective Services assessment to the Founded review process. Having Child Welfare involvement in your family’s life is stressful enough, so it is critical to have representation by someone who understands their complex rules and procedures and has a proven track record of success. The review process for a Founded disposition is a time-sensitive and complex matter, so if you need assistance, please contact our office as soon as possible. Prior to joining Buckley Law, Molly worked for Oregon Department of Human Services in Child Protective Services investigating child abuse and neglect allegations for almost 8 years – it was during her time there she decided to go to law school. She also did an externship with the Portland City Attorney’s office, worked as a Certified Law Student for the Multnomah County DA’s office, and was a student intern with the Lewis and Clark Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. Molly has a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she was an Associate Editor on Environmental Law Review and was recipient of the awards Best Oral Advocate and Best Trial Team. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Portland State University. In her spare time, Molly can be found keeping up with her amazing children, as well as her Pug and rescue Chihuahua. She is a classically trained cellist, enjoys reading history and true crime books, and is an advocate for the protection of children and vulnerable adults. Experience
