Alexis Godowin is an Associate in the Buckley Law Family Law practice group working with Molly Becker, Katelyn Skinner, and team. She is licensed to practice law in Oregon. Alexis represents clients in all types of family law cases. Her litigation practice focuses on contested guardianships and conservatorships, minor guardianship proceedings, restraining orders, administrative law related to child and elder abuse investigations, and civil actions for abuse to elderly people and people with disabilities. As part of the family law team, Alexis handles complex family law matters including divorce, international child abduction cases, custody disputes, modification issues, and restraining and protective orders. Alexis previously practiced law at a civil litigation firm in Canby and has several years of law experience as a legal intern and law clerk starting from 2020. Alexis earned her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law, where she served on the Willamette Law Review as Business Editor and Symposium Editor and received a certificate in health law. She received her bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University in Arizona, where she competed on the Mock Trial Team. In her free time Alexis enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
