Buckley Law P.C. shareholder and attorney William E. Gaar, SPHR has been named a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). As the current chair of the firm’s Employment Law and Litigation Practice Group, Bill is a frequent guest lecturer at Portland State University, speaker and author on employment law topics providing important information to clients through seminars and individual training.
Bill is an advocate and litigator for his business and employer clients, providing practical solutions to everyday concerns and protecting his clients’ rights in state and federal court, private arbitration and mediation, and before state and federal agencies.
The Litigation Counsel of America is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation. Senior Fellow status in the society is reserved for advanced commitment to and support of the LCA, the Diversity Law Institute and the Trial Law Institute.
Bill is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the HR Certification Institute and a board member of the Oregon International Air Show and chair/president of the Oregon International Air Show Charitable Foundation.
