Michael J. Turner

Michael J. Turner is an attorney at Buckley Law in the Estate Planning and Administration Group.

With more than 16  years of experience in estate planning, Michael is a collaborative attorney who has in-depth experience in complex estate planning, probates, trust administration, and general business matters.

Michael works with clients to simplify the complexity of estate planning and estate management with an emphasis on proper planning. He understands that everyone has a unique goal for their estate and strives to be a trusted advisor to clients helping them make the best possible decisions for themselves, their families, and their businesses. Michael works closely with clients to craft estate plans that match their goals to safeguard generational wealth and family relationships.

Prior to joining Buckley Law, Michael founded Larix Legal Counsel in 2021. The firm joined with Buckley in 2025. Michael received his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Washington State University.

A native Oregonian, Michael is an avid reader, skier, hiker, coffee connoisseur, and bowtie enthusiast. He is trying to maintain a baseline to complete a third marathon some day. Michael lives in Lake Owego with his family and enjoys cheering on the Oregon Ducks (except when they play the Cougars).
