Jon Phillips is an attorney who manages the Real Estate practice group at Buckley Law. As part of the real estate and business practice groups, Jon helps individuals and closely-held companies achieve their goals and protect their business interests. He is licensed to practice law in Oregon. His knowledge of business, and real estate matters enables him to provide custom strategies to achieve success for clients. Jon focuses his practice primarily on real estate and business transactions and related litigation, including representing contractors, developers, landlords and business owners. His experience includes real estate fraud, breach of contract/lease claims, lien disputes, and construction defect claims. Jon has been a licensed attorney for over 10 years and has worked in a variety of environments and roles. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jon worked for several years in real estate and property management. Jon combines the knowledge of a lawyer with his experience as a licensed real estate broker to provide exceptional service and value to clients. He is also a licensed broker. Jon graduated from University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He obtained his law degree from Willamette University College of Law. In his free time, Jon enjoys listening to music, home renovation, exploring the Portland food scene and sampling Pacific Northwest microbrews, and spending time with his wife and three dogs.
