Erin Martinek is an Associate in the Buckley Law Family Law practice group working with Katrina Seipel, Katelyn Skinner, and team. She is licensed to practice law in California and in Oregon on a temporary license pending application for comity admission. Erin represents clients in a wide range of family law matters, offering compassionate yet strategic legal guidance through some of life’s most challenging transitions. Erin is highly experienced in handling complex and emotionally charged situations. As part of a larger family law team, Erin and the team are well versed in complex family law matters including divorce, custody disputes, modification issues, international disputes, and restraining and protective orders. Erin approaches each case with a strong commitment to achieving favorable, lasting outcomes for clients and their families. Erin has a J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law and a Master of Science in Law Enforcement and Public Safety from the University of San Diego. She has previous experience working with the San Diego County District Attorney’s office and for the United States Department of Justice at the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Before law school, Erin was a police officer and worked on patrol, as an investigator, was a member of the Domestic Violence Response Team, was a Defensive Tactics Instructor, and worked undercover. She recently moved back to Oregon and enjoys spending time with her partner and his daughter. Erin has a Lhasa Apso mix named Glinda, plays competitive adult volleyball, and was an Oregon state rower. Experience
