Buckley Law P.C., a full-service law firm, is pleased to announce that Associate Attorney Tracy Connor has been appointed to the member-at-large position on the Oregon State Bar Military and Veterans Section Executive Committee. Her term will run from January 2020 through December 2021.
The OSB Military and Veterans Section recently won an international award from The Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) in the Best Publication category for their “Veterans, Military Service members and the Law.” This was the first time an OSB publication has won the top ACLEA prize. The publication is a resource that underscores the need for legal resources to support veterans and military. The publication also provides information about legal rights and benefits that may alter how lawyers practice when their client or opponent is a veteran or military service member.
Connor is in the firm’s family law practice group. She handles family law matters including divorce, separation, custody disputes, and child and spousal support. Prior to joining Buckley Law, Connor was the pro bono coordinator for the Lawyers Serving Warriors project of the National Veterans Legal Services Program, and the Program Manager for Special Advocates for Vulnerable Oregonians, a program assisting people under guardianship and their families.
