Jeff Ellsworth helps businesses and individuals negotiate contracts, maximize tax savings, and write wills and trusts, as well as achieve other business and estate planning goals. His practice focuses on business transactions and estate planning, including the areas of entity formations, real estate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and intellectual property. Jeff works with closely held businesses and business owners on matters ranging from the formation of a business to transition planning and business sales or acquisitions. Clients also contact Jeff to help with their estate planning matters including drafting wills, trusts, advance directives, and powers of attorney.

Prior to joining Buckley Law, Jeff Ellsworth practiced in Bend, Oregon where he served as general business counsel to small businesses, assisted start-up companies with equity financing, and assisted high net worth individuals on estate planning matters. During law school, he served as President of the Business Law Society and also served as judicial intern for the Honorable Anna J. Brown of the United States District Court, District of Oregon.

In his free time, Jeff Ellsworth enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing guitar, snowboarding, playing softball, and volunteering his time to find homes for retired racing greyhounds.
