Elliott P. Dale takes a client-centered approach to serve individuals and businesses in accomplishing their objectives and goals. He works with clients to diagnose issues and refine goals, and “right-size” solutions quickly based on business and legal realities.  He takes advantage of other attorney and staff expertise within Buckley Law P.C. and works closely with a diverse array of professional contacts built from a lifetime growing up and working around the Pacific Northwest.

Elliott’s approach to practicing business law is hands-on, consultative, and strategic. He is mindful of cost-benefit business realities and human dynamics and relationships.  He first listens and analyzes to gain an understanding of his client’s immediate issues and objectives, and works to help clients steer toward their goals and improve their position at each step along the way.  His goal is to build long-term relationships with clients and become a part of their team.

His business law practice emphasis is as an outside general counsel to growth-oriented, closely-held companies in a variety of industries.  This often includes advising on business strategy and business models, structure and day-to-day operations, human resources issues, ownership succession/exit, purchasing and selling companies and real estate, negotiations and documentation of business contracts and real estate transactions, and navigating and resolving disputes of all sorts.

Elliott P. Dale works with individuals to handle simple and personal business matters involving real estate investments, protection of assets, estate planning (including special needs planning), and complex issues/situations where tactful coordination, problem solving, and thoughtful analysis is critical.

Elliott completed a juris doctorate (JD) degree from Lewis & Clark Law School’s evening division while working full-time, and holds a master in business administration (MBA) from Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon in Planning, Public Policy and Management.

In his free time, Elliott P. Dale enjoys travel, spending time with his wife and three children, and serving the community. As a parent of a child who experiences disability, Elliott focuses his community service efforts toward empowerment of persons experiencing disability and inclusion in all facets of life.
