Lake Oswego, OR – Buckley Law P.C., a full-service law firm, is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors have elected Joshua P. Stump as President for 2019.
Stump served as co-president of the firm for the fourth quarter of 2018 with Stan Rotenberg. For more than 20 years, Stump has represented and advocated for some of America’s largest corporations as well as local businesses and individuals who find themselves facing a legal dispute. Stump’s legal practice specializes in the areas of: business and commercial litigation, real estate litigation, civil-rights defense litigation, employment litigation, shareholder disputes, product liability, mass-tort and sports law. His year-long appointment is effective January 1, 2019.
He has served as a Professor of Business Law at Warner Pacific College and Cascade College and has served as a board member and volunteer of various non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of the underprivileged in our community. Stump also serves as a volunteer youth basketball coach and participates in the Oregon State Bar’s New Lawyer Mentoring Program.
Stump is part of the Litigation Practice Group at Buckley Law recognized by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers in their 2019 “Best Law Firms” rankings as a Tier 1 Portland Metropolitan “Best Law Firm” in Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions – Defendants.
Stump received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the College of William and Mary Law School and his B.A. from Pepperdine University.
