Experience

Possessing a varied legal background as a business attorney, litigator, and most recently as the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer for a local mortgage bank, Craig represents an equally diverse client base in matters relating to business, real estate, insurance, finance, banking, and associated affairs. He is licensed to practice law in Oregon, Washington, and Nevada.

Craig is experienced in handling complex matters, including business and financial legal issues, regulatory compliance, commercial and residential real estate, and entity formation and organization. He is well-versed in offering strategic guidance to companies and operations professionals to proactively identify areas of need or risk, assess potential exposure, and offer practical advice and solutions. Craig also possesses extensive experience in federal and state regulatory compliance for the finance and banking industries. As a former in-house counsel, his experience and insight into how entities function helps him find practical and efficient solutions for his clients. Leveraging the expertise of attorneys and staff within Buckley Law, Craig represents his clients with the dedication, knowledge and “think outside the box” creativity necessary to navigate legal challenges.

Born and raised outside Boston, Massachusetts, Craig obtained his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. After practicing in Las Vegas, Nevada, for a number of years, Craig and his family relocated to Oregon in 2012. In his spare time, he enjoys camping throughout the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two boys. He is also a life-long hockey player and helps coach with the Jr. Winterhawks youth hockey program.
