Experience

Katelyn Skinner represents clients in all types of family law cases. She is well versed in complex family law matters including divorce, custody disputes, modification issues, international disputes and international family law, and restraining and protective orders. Katelyn understands each family law conflict is unique and requires a unique resolution. She is a caring advocate and advisor who offers dynamic representation to clients facing difficult divorce and family law issues and provides a breadth of legal experience to the Buckley Law team.

Prior to joining Buckley Law, Katelyn founded and managed a general practice law firm where she assisted clients with personal injury matters, employment and business disputes, estate planning and probate, family law and general civil matters. In addition to this, Katelyn enjoys the courtroom and has attained victories for clients in civil jury trials.

Katelyn Skinner brings to Buckley Law a global perspective having lived in Japan for many years engaging in multiple foreign exchange programs. She speaks conversational Japanese and is looking forward to her next opportunity to visit Japan. She is an advocate for cultural awareness and understanding.
