Laura L. Hammond is a Shareholder at Buckley Law and her primary areas of practice are estate planning and general business law. Laura obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University Of Oregon and her Juris Doctorate from the University Of Oregon School Of Law. Laura also received her Estate Planning Certificate from the University of Oregon. Laura is admitted to both the Oregon State Bar and the Washington State Bar and is a member of the Oregon State Bar’s Business and Taxation Section.
Laura specializes in estate planning and helps her clients achieve their personal objectives by developing plans and strategies for the disposition of their estates. She has extensive experience in general estate planning work such as wills and trusts, as well as experience with more complex estate planning activities, such as the design and implementation of sophisticated 401(k) and profit sharing plans, including cross-tested and age-weight profit sharing plans. In Laura’s business practice, she works with closely-held and family-owned businesses to advise them on the formation and organization of their business entities, buy-sell agreements, business succession planning, lease reviews, employment contracts, and other such corporate, commercial and employment documents.
