Mark joined AKT LLP in 1989 and currently leads AKT Private, which focuses exclusively on providing high touch tax and financial planning services to high net worth individuals and business owners. He helps clients identify their overall financial goals and objectives and assists them in achieving those goals by accessing a network of resources and relationships.

Mike Bragg is a taxation, business, and estate planning attorney with more than 36 years of experience. His practice emphasizes federal and state taxation, closely held corporate transactions, executive compensation, business succession and family wealth planning, estate and gift tax and retirement planning. Over the course of his career, Mike has acquired considerable expertise concerning the mature business client and the sensitive issues associated with transition and family wealth planning necessary to allow the business to be transferred to the next generation of owners. Jim Pittman, President, ICS, Inc.
Jim began his Insurance career in 1970 as an agent for the Massachusetts Mutual Life Ins. Co. Building on an outstanding record of success, Jim began a 29 years partnership in Portland’s Compensation Systems Northwest. In 2000 Jim formed Insurance Consulting Services, Inc. (ICS), a full service Insurance brokerage firm with the explicit goal of providing objective advice. Jim’s philosophy has always been to educate his clients so that they can make informed decisions about risk management issues in their personal and professional lives. In addition, it is Jim’s view that involving clients’ other professional advisors significantly enhances the process. Jim is a frequent speaker to legal, CPA, financial planners and other industry groups on the intricacies of Life, Disability, and Long-term care insurance. He instructs on the proper use of these products by individuals, business owners and those with estate tax liabilities.

Rob LeChevallier practices business law, business formation, estate planning, real estate law, corporate financing, and securities law. Rob serves as corporate counsel for a variety of manufacturing and service companies. He has been described by The Oregonian 6/12/2003 as “the legal professions equivalent of a midwife” to hundreds of businesses in the Portland area. Rob particularly focuses on the estate planning needs of business owners, who are often so preoccupied with their business that they neglect their own succession issues. Rob prepares estate plans for business owners and other high net worth individuals and their families with an emphasis on succession planning.
