Please join us for this important presentation on complex estate tax issues presented by Co-President and Shareholder Rob Le Chevallier.  Congress has been dithering about extending the Bush tax cuts.  We went from a $3.5 million federal exemption in 2009 to no federal estate tax in 2010, to a new federal exemption of $5 million in 2011 and 2012.  There is also portability of the exemptions to the last surviving spouse.  In the meantime states are getting into the inheritance tax act which can be a trap for the unwary.  Confused?  Worried?  Come to our Estate Tax Update to learn how to better plan your estate and minimize estate and inheritance taxes.
