Buckley LeChevallier P.C. Merging With the Business Law Group of Portland Law Firm Grenley, Rotenberg, Evans, Bragg & Bodie P.C. to Form Buckley Law P.C.
Lake Oswego, OR – Buckley LeChevallier P.C. is merging with the business law group of Portland’s Grenley, Rotenberg, Evans, Bragg & Bodie, P.C. (Grenley Rotenberg) to form a new law firm called Buckley Law P.C., according to co-president Rob Le Chevallier.
Grenley Rotenberg shareholders Michael J. Bragg, Lawrence Evans, Stan Rotenberg, Kelly Meltzer, Laura Hammond, and associate David Shawcross, will be part of the new firm, resulting in a combined number of 21 attorneys and one of the largest law offices in Clackamas County.
Le Chevallier said that his firm had been planning to expand and was looking for new opportunities, either through a merger or by hiring several key attorneys. “The Grenley Rotenberg partners’ skill set and style are a very good fit for us,” he said. “And their business law practice is exceptional, which will provide great depth to our team.”
Bragg echoed Le Chevallier’s comments and said: “We will collectively have the power and resources to attract larger clients, while enhancing the scope of legal services available to our existing clients.”
Le Chevallier said the significant increase in shareholders makes this the perfect time for a name change. Founding shareholder William Buckley remains Of Counsel, and “Buckley” provides a simple, easy-to-remember name for the new firm. “It’s a recognizable name representing a new firm,” Le Chevallier said, “which is exactly what we will be after adding these attorneys.”
Buckley Law P.C. will be co-managed by Rob Le Chevallier and Michael J. Bragg and will be headquartered in the Kruse Way corridor of Lake Oswego. Buckley Law P.C. provides legal services in business and commercial law, employment and labor law, real estate and land use, civil litigation, intellectual property, taxation, family and elder law, and estate planning.
